The Duchossois Family Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryce Connors, PhD, as Senior Bioprocess Development Manager for the DFI’s current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Facility. Bryce holds dual bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and Spanish and previously contributed to microbiome bioprocess development for live biotherapeutics (LBPs) at Seres Therapeutics. After leaving Seres, he earned his PhD in chemical and biological engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In his new role on the GMP team, Bryce will focus on anaerobic bacterial fermentation and optimization of manufacturing steps to produce cGMP-grade LBPs for clinical trials of microbiome reconstitution.
