Duchossois Family Foundation

A history of giving

The Chicago-area Duchossois family has a deep commitment to supporting science and medicine. Family members spanning three generations lead The Duchossois Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps fund innovative programs in wellness and education.

To date, the Duchossois family has donated $137 million to drive innovation and transformative care at UChicago Medicine. Over nearly four decades, their generosity has supported treatment and diagnostic centers, research institutes, endowed professorships, and several cancer research funds.

WITH A RESEARCH, CLINICAL, AND ENTREPRENEURIAL INFRASTRUCTURE, THE DUCHOSSOIS FAMILY INSTITUTE AIMS TO REDUCE THE TIME IT TAKES TO BRING SCIENTIFIC BREAKTHROUGHS FROM CONCEPT TO MARKET.
